The Thornhill Christmas Assistance Program is preparing for another season of supporting families in need within our Thornhill community. Although the program is church-based, assistance is provided to anyone in need in Thornhill, regardless of religious belief or practice.
Last year, the program provided $100 grocery gift cards to 332 people in our community. We expect to assist a similar number again this year, so your contributions are greatly appreciated.
Please make your donation by November 22. Holy Trinity will collect all donations and present a cheque to the program organizers on November 26.
Gift cards will be distributed on December 14.
Donations may be made by cheque through the church office or placed in the collection plate. If you prefer to make an e-transfer, please contact info@holytrinity-thornhill.ca or call 905-889-5931 for instructions.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
Also, please plan to attend the Joy of Christmas Concert at Thornhill United Church, 25 Elgin Street.
