Children of grades 1 to 8 are in the KIDZ group, YOUTH are of high school age to possibly mid-twenties. Babies and preschoolers are in the Nursery. Afterwards, the children join their families in church, in time to receive the Eucharist. Following the church service, there is usually “coffee hour “in the auditorium, when there is time for fellowship. Here the children can enjoy juice and cookies, etc. with their friends and families.
YOUTH of High School age, up to about 25 years, plus.friends and visitors are always welcome! In order to meet the needs of today’s Youth, we are associating with other Christian churches in our area. As a larger group we will have more resources to share and opportunities for fellowship, activities and worship! We will continue meeting in our Holy Trinity small group with time and day to be arranged. Parents may be asked occasionally to help drive or supervise an activity. Communication about Youth gatherings will be mostly through email and FACEBOOK. Our parish FACEBOOK Page is “Holy Trinity Thornhill-Youth”. It is important that the Youth also register with Judith Sinclair, in order to have all pertinent information on file for safety and communication. Registration packages are always on the bulletin board beside Room A.
We have a very inviting Nursery room (Room B). This is a bright, welcoming place, with the Noah’s
If you are bringing a child to the Nursery during 10:00 service, and no one is there to help supervise, please do come into room A to see Judith and we’ll try to be of service to you. Young ones are also welcome upstairs in Church, where we have stuffed animals, books and paper with crayons for busy little hands. These are located in the extra wide pew at the rear, on the right side.
